people in the United States. It is estimated that there are 60,000 new cases diagnosed every year.  Early diagnosis is very important for slowing the progress of symptoms.

Facebook has a closed Parkinsons Online Chat Group with over 5,000 members.  Look this up when you are on Facebook, and ask to join.  It is a nice member to member support group for either those with Parkinson’s or their loved ones.
