About the Designing Brighter Tomorrows Staff Writers

Linda MarsolekLinda Marsolek, MS, CSA
Linda Marsolek has been the driving force for Designing Brighter Tomorrows since 1995. She has been a researcher and evaluator for over thirty years in the fields of mental health, public safety, economics, and adult/senior growth and development. She trained teachers and youth leaders in the Peace Corps, created mentoring programs, and has developed training programs on a variety of topics.  Ms. Marsolek trained with Dr. J. David Hawkins in the Communities that Care model, and was on the founding board of Build a Generation in Colorado, a youth prevention initiative.

    • She completed the Death and Grief Studies Certification with the Center for Loss and Life Transition, and has facilitated grief support groups for youth as well as for adults.
    • She has served as a caregiver for over 30 years for friends and family members.
    • She has trained and served as a licensed spiritual coach in her spiritual community. In this capacity, she has had additional training in PTSD and Trauma Resolution.
    • She is a Toastmaster, and gives speeches on the topics you see here on this website.

Linda’s lifelong desire is to provide information and tools in order that people may thrive in living their lives fully.

 

Lisé PellerinLisé Pellerin
Lisé Pellerin has been very involved in the copy editing for this site, as well as being an administrator. She is a certified Writing Down Your Soul guide, having completed a year-long, 5-course intensive, Your Soul Wants Five Things, with Janet Conner, and is currently facilitating this course in Colorado Springs, as well as via distance technology.

  • Lisé has been certified as a licensed spiritual coach and has served in her spiritual community since 2007.  She completed the Great Life Technologies Trauma Resolution Specialist program.  She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University and Arizona State University.
  • She has contributed in her community serving as a licensed foster parent, a 4-H leader, and has been certified as a Family Advocate and Prevention Generalist.  Very active in the Fiber Arts with adults and children, Lisé co-founded a fiber arts guild that has been active for over 10 years where all generations are welcome.
  • A person versed in the use of technology to connect people, Lisé has lead various groups connecting over the internet, maintains the website and social media in her current position, and  brings this expertise to the Designing Brighter Tomorrows website.

 

KimiKimberly Recor
Kimberly Recor has researched and written many of the articles for launching this website. She is passionate about living the creative life, delving into both the creative and business worlds of composing and playing music, writing, and fashion.  She has a natural talent for nurturing and supporting people of all ages in their life changes. Since childhood, she has had an insatiable curiosity, and is self-taught in a number of areas.  Kimberly was born in Germany and lived there until she was 11 years old.  She still speaks German fluently, and you will see in her writing, that she is very interesting.  She attended Whittier College and the City College of San Francisco. Kimberly does creative writing, writes and performs music, does internet research and writes for various social media sites, and has written for the Huffington Post.
